Stormy Belle is a believed to be a Shepherd mix, approximately 5 years old, and weighs around 52lbs. As with all rescues, her exact breed and age are a delightful mystery.
Ideal Home
Stormy Belle would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard, ideally in a suburban setting where she can explore at her own pace without the hustle and bustle of the city. While she's generally good with children, she would prefer a home with older kids (around 14 and up) who can better understand and respect her need for space and calm moments.

Training & Support
Stormy Belle is a bright and eager learner, especially when motivated by treats and her beloved tennis balls. She already knows how to sit and lie down, responds to a "touch" command, and has a good recall. She walks well on a leash, is crate-trained, and potty-trained, with excellent house manners. She's a quiet companion and would be a great fit for someone who works from home, but she certainly appreciates attention when offered. While she's friendly with other dogs and takes her time warming up, she's more of a roamer who enjoys company and fresh air rather than an active playmate. She is most comfortable around smaller dogs.

Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
