About Nona
Nona is a 1-year-old, 50 lb, spayed female Staffie mix with a personality that's truly starting to shine! She's in her older puppy phase, full of playful energy but also growing more confident and learning to be the best girl. Nona is built like a little tank with a short, sturdy frame and an adorably front-heavy build. She loves to zoom around the backyard with her toys and greets her foster mom with an enthusiastic flying leap! Nona is all sweetness and loves being near her people, happy to tag along wherever you go. Her whole body wiggles when she's excited, and her tail wags a mile a minute. She loves meeting new friends and has been practicing her socializing skills, including a wonderful meeting with a child. Nona is clever and motivated by toys and treats, making training fun. She's mastered "sit" and is working on her leash manners. She enjoys walks of up to 2-3 miles and is a delightful companion once she arrives at her destination. Nona is fully crate trained and does great with potty training, needing a family to continue reinforcing her routine. She's also a shy little watchdog, sounding the alarm if she hears or sees something unfamiliar. Nona has an irresistible underbite that makes her goofy expressions even cuter. She's dog-friendly and gets along well with her foster siblings. Nona hasn't been around cats or other children in a home setting, but we think she'd do well in a calm home with respectful kids who understand how to interact with an older puppy. She'd thrive with a confident canine friend but would also be happy as your one-and-only. Nona is expected to grow into a sturdy, medium-to-large-sized dog. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, hilarious little tank with a happy wiggle butt and a personality to make you laugh, Nona is ready to meet you!
Ideal Home
Nona would do best in a calm home with respectful, well-mannered children who understand how to interact with an older puppy. She would thrive with a confident canine friend to play with and learn from, but would also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one-and-only.
Ongoing Health
Nona is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Nona is highly motivated by both toys and treats, which makes training fun and rewarding. She's recently mastered "sit" and is continuing to work on her leash manners. She is fully crate trained, especially overnight, and settles in beautifully. She's also doing great with her potty training and just needs a family willing to continue reinforcing her routine. She's a bit of a shy little watchdog.
