Beauty in NC

Beauty is a stunning 5-year-old female shaded cream piebald dachshund with a long coat. She's up-to-date on all vaccinations and is spayed. This sweet girl is a retired breeding dog who is learning what it means to be a pet and is looking for a patient and loving forever home. While she can be timid at first, with time and gentle guidance, she's sure to blossom into a wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Beauty would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard. She needs a home with another well-socialized adult small dog to help her learn how to be a pet. Homes with children aged 10 and over who understand and respect a dog's space are suitable. Due to her dachshund nature, she barks, so apartments, high-rises, condos, or duplexes are not a good fit. Homes with cats are not suitable. Experience with breeding dogs and understanding their adjustment period is a must.

Ongoing Health

Beauty is up-to-date on her vaccinations, including DHPP and Rabies, with records dated July 7, 2026. She is spayed. She is on monthly heartworm prevention, due on the 8th of each month.

Training & Support

Beauty is working on her housetraining and leash training. She is crate trained. She will need a dedicated adopter who can provide consistent time and patience to help her master these skills and fully embrace her life as a pet.
