Mochi

Mochi is a sweet 1 year and 3 month old, 15lb boy with a beautiful white coat who is looking for his forever home! He came to us from a situation where he didn't get the early socialization many pups do, which means he can be a bit unsure in new situations and with new things. He's still learning the ropes of leash walking and housetraining, and will need a patient and structured environment to help him build his confidence.

Mochi absolutely adores other dogs and truly blossoms when he has canine companions. He gets along wonderfully with the dogs in his foster home and visiting neighbors, often relaxing and enjoying their company. For this reason, we highly recommend he go to a home with at least one other friendly dog. He also enjoys plush toys and has a weakness for chicken and boiled eggs as treats! He recently showed his good boy nature during a bath and haircut.

Ideal Home

Mochi would do best in a calmer home where he can build his confidence. He may not be the best fit for a busy household with young children.

Ongoing Health

Mochi has been neutered and is up-to-date on his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Mochi is working on leash manners and housetraining, and will benefit from a patient and consistent approach. He can be vocal when someone new arrives, but quickly settles down and seeks their company. He prefers to approach people on his own terms and enjoys relaxing on the floor rather than on a lap.
