Valentine

Valentine, a charming 5-year-old Pyrenees/Hound mix, is on the search for his next adventure! He's a high-energy, loving companion who previously found his stride in a country setting. While he adapted well to his first adoptive home, a recent move to city life has proven to be a challenge for this spirited boy. Valentine thrives on open spaces to explore and needs a home where he can truly spread his paws. His previous adopters rave about his loyalty and affection, noting he's housetrained, walks well on a leash, and gets along famously with other animals, including dogs, cats, and livestock. He's even a natural protector, having bravely deterred a bear! He's a bit of a sun-worshipper and isn't a fan of rainy days, but his love for his people shines through, making him a devoted guardian and friend.

Ideal Home

Valentine would thrive in a home with ample space to roam and explore, ideally in a country or suburban setting. He enjoys having a "job" to do and relishes opportunities for adventure.

Valentine is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

Valentine is housetrained and walks well on a leash. He is learning to be well-behaved around chickens. He becomes stressed in cramped city environments with unfamiliar people and animals.

Transporation

Valentine is located in South Carolina. We offer transport to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
