Meet Lady Rose - the Queen of Cuddles and Couch Time!

If you're looking for the world's sweetest, most smooshable, big-headed lovebug, you've found her! Lady is a 3-year-old Mastiff mix with the softest soul and the cutest little white "shoes" you've ever seen. She's equal parts gentle couch potato and goofy best friend – basically a perfect mix of chill and charm. Lady loves her people and will happily lean right into you for snuggles, belly rubs, or just to remind you that she's there. She has perfected the art of leaning her whole body into you just to make sure you know she loves you. She's not pushy about it either; she'll politely ask for affection, and when you stop, she gives you the saddest "but why did you stop petting me?" look until your heart melts and you start again. She loves to roll over for belly rubs, and if she could, she'd spend all day like that.

Ideal Home

Lady would do amazing in a home or apartment with someone who wants a snuggle buddy, walking companion, and best friend all rolled into one big, sweet, smooshy face. She's affectionate, gentle, and ready to fill your life with calm, goofy joy.

Ongoing Health

Lady Rose is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test. She is also microchipped with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Lady Rose is a dream on leash and walks right beside you, checking in often. She is super easy to handle and loves meeting new people, never having met a stranger. She is amazing with children, knowing to be extra gentle and not jump. Lady has "queen energy" with other dogs; she is calm, polite, and a little aloof. She would do best with another laid-back, mellow dog or would be perfectly happy being the only dog. She met a cat and was curious but cautious, giving a sniff and politely backing off. Lady is low-energy at home and would rather nap next to you than run around.

Transportation

Lady Rose is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $74 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
