Deryn

Deryn is an approximately 8-week-old Chihuahua mix who currently weighs about 3 pounds. This sweet boy is playful, though he can be a little cautious, preferring to assess new situations before diving in. This thoughtful approach doesn't stop him from exploring and interacting with other dogs, and he absolutely loves being with his humans, finding comfort in napping and snuggling on a warm lap. Because he's so small and often underfoot, he can sometimes be a tripping hazard! Deryn will be ready to find his forever home in just two weeks.

Ideal Home

Puppies require a lot of attention and companionship, so if you expect to leave a dog alone for long periods, please do not consider adopting a puppy.

Ongoing Health

Deryn is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. He will be adopted with a neuter agreement due to his size and age. The reimbursement fee for the neuter will be discussed with our adoption coordinator.

Training & Support

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Ashley Reum.
