About Peanut

The Gentleman of the Couch

Meet Peanut, a 64-pound bundle of calm. This laid-back fellow was once left behind, but he's decided not to sweat the small stuff. Peanut is now patiently waiting for a comfy couch and a human who appreciates a dog who truly knows how to relax. He's a master of stretching, napping, and enjoying the simple pleasures of a sunny spot. Peanut is great with everyone – dogs, kids, and strangers alike – offering a friendly nod before finding his favorite napping location. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and has smooth leash skills, making him a polite, steady, and unbothered companion. Peanut has a gentle play style, happy to join in a romp or simply spectate with a contented grin. He's confident, easygoing, and adaptable to various living situations, including apartments, houses, or even van life. He would do well with another dog or as a cherished solo companion. Peanut is mellow, social, and easy to please, with a soft coat, kind eyes, and a heart ready to settle down. If your ideal Friday night involves cozying up on the couch, Peanut is already saving you a spot.
