Amy

Amy would describe herself as kind of a loner. She likes dogs, and they like her, but if she's asked to play, she's probably not going to give it her all. Maybe a romp or two then it's rest time. Amy was found as a stray in a not so good area of Houston, TX. It is believed she may have suffered some trauma or abuse because she does have missing teeth and her head is somewhat crooked. Her past did not affect Amy in any way; she loves attention and is a very laid back girl. She would love to accompany someone on a hike or a walk to explore her new environments. She wouldn't mind being the only dog, if someone would like their very own snuggle buddy. Amy is a medium-sized girl, making her a perfect friend for any adventure.

Ideal Home

Amy would do well as the only dog in the home, or with other dogs who are okay with her more independent nature. A good fenced-in yard is advisable, as she can be an escape artist.

Amy has missing teeth and a somewhat crooked head, which may be the result of past trauma or abuse.
