Meet Lucy!
Lucy is a sweet, two-year-old, 65-pound bundle of sunshine. This Great Pyrenees, Labrador Retriever, and Shepherd mix has a mostly black coat and a heart full of devotion. She's a medium-energy girl who finds joy in simple pleasures: a sunny spot to lounge, her favorite plush lamb, and the company of her people. Lucy loves her daily walks and stretching her legs in a spacious yard, but her ultimate happiness comes from basking in the sun and being close to her family.
Ideal Home
Lucy thrives in a calm, quiet, and rural setting with a large fenced yard. She's sensitive to high-energy environments and would do best in a home with adults or older children who can provide a peaceful atmosphere. Lucy is not suitable for a home with young children or cats.
Ongoing Health
Lucy is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She has no medical or dietary restrictions and is in excellent health.
Training & Support
Lucy has completed formal obedience training and knows commands like sit, place, down, stay, come, and heel. She walks well on a leash and comes when called. She can be left alone for 6-7 hours during the day and sleeps comfortably in her crate at night. Lucy is house-trained. As she matures, her Great Pyrenees herding instincts may emerge in busy households. In her current home, she has responded to boisterous activity or rowdy children by growling and engaging in "ball-herding" behaviors. Providing a structured, patient, and calm routine will allow her affectionate and easygoing personality to shine.
