Meet Loki! This charming 3-year-old Terrier mix, weighing about 11 pounds, is ready to be your loyal best friend. Loki has a scruffy wire-haired coat and a heart full of affection. He's a calm and well-mannered companion who enjoys being by your side, and car rides with the window down are a favorite pastime! Loki was found near a school in Saltillo, Mexico, and after receiving care at a veterinary clinic, he joined our rescue program. He's now healthy, safe, and eager to find his forever home.
Ideal Home
Loki would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor adventures. He needs a patient adopter who will give him the time and space he needs to feel secure and build trust.
Ongoing Health
Loki has received extensive veterinary care, including being spayed/neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and microchipped. He has tested negative for heartworm and 4DX, and is on monthly preventive medication (Nexgard Spectra) for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. A health certificate and vaccination booklet are available.
Training & Support
Loki is not house-trained, and it's important to understand that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period. He can be a bit nervous and cautious when meeting new people, needing time to warm up. He is intelligent and will benefit from consistent training and a patient approach. Families with experience in dog behavior and training, or a willingness to hire a trainer, are ideal.

Transportation
Loki is currently in foster care in Saltillo, Mexico. He is available for transport to the East Coast of the United States as part of our scheduled cross-country trips. A transport fee of $400 USD applies and covers door-to-door delivery. Our transport company will provide regular updates throughout the journey.
