Lex is the epitome of a good time! She's a bouncy, playful dog who is loving of everyone and excited to make new friends, whether they have two legs or four. She knows how to have fun no matter where she is, and is constantly booming with joy. Lex is the queen of zoomies, kisses, and tug. When she first arrived, she ran up with a wagging tail and a huge smile, immediately showering everyone with affection. She loves to play hard with other dogs, and is full of energy!
Ideal Home
Lex is a high-energy dog who needs a home with a yard and an active owner who is familiar with cattle dogs, as she is definitely a wild child! She would likely do well in a home with male or female dogs, but seems to enjoy playing with female dogs the most. She has not been tested with children, but we believe she would love them, especially older children who can handle her enthusiastic play style. Lex is not a good fit for a home with cats.

Training & Support
Lex's leash skills need some perfecting as she can pull a little when trying to meet new people. She is eager to please and would likely train well with consistency.

Transportation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). An $87 surcharge applies for transportation.
