Sweet Potato is the epitome of a cuddle bug, a fluffy teddy bear who believes personal space is merely a suggestion. She's an incredibly affectionate, easygoing, and comforting companion, making time with her feel like a deep, calming exhale. Sweet Potato isn't one for chaos; she simply wants to be close to her people and soak up all the love she can. She's a 57 lb, approximately 6-year-old GSD/Anatolian Shepherd mix who is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and carries herself with polite lady-like grace. She is a rescue and breed/age cannot be guaranteed.

Ideal Home

Sweet Potato is looking for her people, those who appreciate slow mornings, peaceful evenings, couch cuddles, and a loyal companion by their side. She has shown to be gentle and sweet with children of all ages. She is also very dog-friendly and enjoys the company of calm, easygoing dogs. She has shown to be respectful of cats as well, and a sleepover can be arranged for potential cat adopters.

• All vetting is included in the adoption fee, including DAPP vaccination with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, deworming, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm preventative, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
• A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.

Transporation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide with USDA-certified transport, including drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
