Micaela

Micaela is a beautiful, approximately 2-year-old husky who has overcome immense hardship. She arrived at the shelter in pain with a fractured jaw, dental issues, and was heartworm positive. Despite her difficult past, Micaela is a resilient and brave girl who is now on the road to recovery. She is learning to trust again and shows gratitude for gentle touch and care. Her story is one of survival, hope, and the power of compassion.

Ideal Home

Micaela would thrive in a loving and compassionate forever home where she will never again be overlooked or in pain. A quiet and understanding environment would be ideal for her as she continues to heal and adjust.

Ongoing Health

Micaela is currently undergoing slow-kill treatment for heartworm positive status and has had a full dental cleaning with removal of damaged teeth. She is expected to live a completely normal, pain-free life.

Training & Support

Micaela is slowly learning to trust and needs continued gentle guidance and patience as she acclimates to her new life. Encouraging her with soft words and gentle touch will help her continue to feel safe and loved.
