Savvy

Savvy is a three-year-old, 51-pound black Labrador mix with adorable brindle markings on her legs. She's a sweet, smart, and lovable girl who enjoys making new friends and already knows some commands! When we first met Savvy at the county shelter, staff told us she was shy in the busy environment. Even though she was nervous, she was gentle and immediately came to greet us with sweet kisses and affection. That's Savvy – sweet, trusting, and just a little bit awkward in the most endearing way. Since arriving at Home Fur Good, Savvy has been an easy companion. She walks beautifully on a leash, loves spending time with people, and takes life's changes in stride. While she can be a bit uncertain in new situations, she quickly settles in once she feels safe.

Ideal Home

Savvy seems like she would thrive with a confident canine friend who can help her build confidence, provide companionship, and offer some fun playtime.

Ongoing Health

Savvy is currently eating a salmon-based diet to help with some skin sensitivities. Her future family should be prepared to continue monitoring her skin.

Training & Support

Savvy settles in quickly once she realizes she's safe, but she can be a little uncertain in new situations.
