Meet Rio! This handsome pup looks like an Oreo cookie and has a personality to match his sweet appearance. Rio is a playful and energetic young dog who loves to train and learn new things. He knows his name, "sit," "come," "down," and a "hand target." Rio is highly food-motivated, making him eager to please for a tasty reward. He's also a big fan of fetch and tug-of-war, and his floppy ears and "freckled snooter" are sure to steal your heart. Rio's paws are said to smell like Frito pie, which he believes is a compliment!

Ideal Home

Rio would do best in a home with a sturdy, chill dog of similar size or larger who is not easily annoyed and can help teach him appropriate play. He is not a fan of cats and they are not approved toys. Rio enjoys car rides but is still working on not being restrained. He gets the zoomies when excited and loves to play, so a home that can keep up with his energy is ideal.

Rio is a fast learner who loves to train. He's working on his food and toy possessiveness and is learning to share. He can be a bit "mouthy" during play, so a doggy mentor is recommended.
