Meet George and Piper, a dynamic duo ready to bring boundless love and gentle companionship into your life! George, a majestic three-year-old Great Pyrenees/Saint Bernard mix, is a calm and steady presence, weighing in at 112 pounds with a striking tricolor coat. He's a loyal, intelligent, and gentle soul who has learned to trust and feel safe after a difficult start. George prefers quiet companionship and will happily rest at your feet or beside you, offering deep affection when he feels secure. Piper, a lively two-year-old Pharaoh Hound/American Pitbull Terrier mix, is George's radiant counterpart, weighing 31 pounds with a sleek brown coat and eyes full of curiosity. She's a bundle of joy, resilience, and affection, who loves to play, cuddle, and greet familiar faces with infectious enthusiasm. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows several commands. Together, George and Piper create a beautiful balance, lifting each other up and finding comfort in their shared journey.
Ideal Home
George thrives in a calm, structured environment where trust can be built over time. He needs ample space to roam and feel secure, making him unsuited for apartments or small condos. Piper is friendly, wonderful with children, and good with other dogs. She may need slow introductions to cats or small animals. Piper is sensitive to loud noises and will appreciate a cozy retreat.
Ongoing Health
George had one fear-based bite incident and one instance of snapping (without contact) when his boundaries were not respected. A professional trainer evaluated him and confirmed he is not aggressive but a sensitive dog reacting to stress. His trainers are offering video or phone consultations to support his future family.
Training & Support
George is house-trained, leash-savvy, and knows commands such as sit, down, shake, easy, and stay. He responds well to predictability and gentle guidance. Piper is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows sit, down, and stay. She thrives with activity but also enjoys relaxing.
