India is a beautiful 4-year-old Coonhound mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. This sweet girl is ready to leave shelter life behind and find a family who will appreciate her loyal nature and loving personality. Whether she's out exploring the world with her nose or relaxing by your side, India is happiest when she's with her people. Like many Coonhounds, India is curious, intelligent, and enjoys taking in all the exciting sights and smells around her. She would love a home where she can enjoy walks, outdoor adventures, and plenty of affection. Her kind spirit and easygoing nature make her a wonderful companion for the right family.
Ideal Home
India would love a home where she can enjoy walks, outdoor adventures, and plenty of affection. She is a great companion for families with children, and a fenced-in yard is not required. Due to import regulations, we are not able to adopt to MA or RI residents at this time.
Ongoing Health
India is heartworm positive, but heartworms are treatable with proper veterinary care, time, and patience. She has so much life and love ahead of her and is hoping someone will give her the second chance she deserves.

Transporation
India is currently located at HSSM. Her $250 adoption fee includes transport to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application. Adopters will meet at a designated meeting spot to pick up their new companions.
