Toasty (Dallas)

Toasty is a happy, approximately 4-year-old male Yorkie weighing about 10 pounds who loves people and getting lots of pets and treats. He seems to be potty trained if led out regularly. Toasty is a survivor of a hit-and-run accident and has overcome a broken pelvis and hip surgery. He's doing great but cannot jump on a couch or bed due to his previous injuries. Toasty loves a big backyard to stroll around in with short walks, so he's not suited for apartment living.

Ideal Home

Toasty would thrive in a home with a big backyard and no small children or large dogs due to his previous hip surgery.

Ongoing Health

Toasty is Heartworm-positive and is currently undergoing the slow-kill treatment. He will come with a year's supply of Heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Toasty is generally potty trained but benefits from regular trips outside. He cannot jump due to his hip surgery.

• We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
• For the safety of our small breed dogs, we will not place them in homes with large breed dogs.
