Otis

Hi, I'm Otis, a very sweet and loving Shepherd mix who was found as a stray. No one came to claim me, so I'm now waiting for my forever family to come and take me home! I love people and older children. I walk great on leash and do great in play groups with other dogs with similar energy levels. I can be a little dog reactive when leaving my kennel, but I might be okay with another dog in the home if we're well-suited. If you have a furry friend already, please bring them along for a meet and greet! I've been fortunate to go offsite for hikes, park visits, and beach trips, and I have excellent manners once I'm away from the noisy kennel environment. I hope you have a strong arm because I love to play fetch, and I also love to snuggle!

Ideal Home

Otis would do best in a home with older children and would love a canine companion if they have a similar energy level. If you have another dog, please bring them for a meet and greet!

Otis is altered and up to date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

Otis can be a little dog reactive when leaving his kennel, but this has improved with time and positive reinforcement. He thrives when given the opportunity to be out of the shelter environment.

Transporation

Otis is currently located at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary. We offer transportation to approved adopters within a 2-hour radius.
