Layne Louise

Layne Louise is a beautiful, approximately 3-year-old, 50 lb golden girl who came to us timid and scared but has since gained a lot of confidence. She's a sweetheart who has lived with other dogs, kids, and a baby, and she's great with children. Layne can be timid in new environments and away from familiar people. She's a quiet girl, notably not barking at the mailman like some of her housemates. Layne loves to play fetch, go on walks, and enjoys treat time. She also loves romping in the yard with her canine companions and does well with senior dogs.

Ideal Home

Layne would thrive in a home where she can run free and watch the birds, so a fenced yard is preferred. She has previously chased bunnies, so a home without cats is recommended, though she has not been cat tested. Layne prefers women over men, but she does live well with her male foster parent, though she may give him a bark occasionally. She absolutely loves mellow dogs and would do best with a friendly, resident pup.

Ongoing Health

Layne is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and is spayed.

Training & Support

Layne is still a bit timid in new situations and can be reserved around men, though she does warm up. With patience and love, she will blossom into a wonderful companion.
