Big is a resilient soul who's overcome quite a bit. He was rescued from a crowded property with many other dogs and had clearly not had the easiest start. Initially, he was very fearful of people and uncertain of his surroundings. His journey continued with another significant health scare – an intestinal obstruction that was nearly life-threatening. But Big is a fighter! He bravely pushed through and is now healthy, safe, and eager to begin his next chapter.

Big would thrive in a quiet home where he can feel secure. He needs a patient, compassionate person who understands that building trust takes time and will allow him to progress at his own pace.

Ongoing Health

Big is currently healthy and has recovered from a past intestinal obstruction.

Training & Support

Big can still be nervous around new people, but he is making progress every day. He's learning to choose courage over fear and takes small steps forward. He needs a loving owner who will continue to provide him with patience and understanding as he blossoms.
