Beauregard the 4th

Meet Beauregard the 4th! This adorable 12+ year old chihuahua mix is a sweet, easygoing senior boy who is friendly and happy! He came to us after his owner fell ill and had to enter a nursing home. Beau had lived his life with his owner, being loved and cared for through the years. He is blind, though seems to get around just fine. He loves soft, cozy beds and does great in a crate. We're assuming he is potty trained, though we cannot know for certain until he is placed in a home again. He is dog friendly, though prefers the companionship of people and other calm, gentle dogs. This precious old man is ready to be spoiled in his golden years by a loving family! We promised Beauregard the 4th that the rest of his life would be the best of his life. Could that be with you?

Ideal Home

Beauregard would thrive in a home that can offer him soft, cozy beds and gentle companionship. He prefers the company of people and other calm, gentle dogs.

Ongoing Health

Beauregard is blind, but navigates his environment well. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Beauregard is crate trained and we assume he is potty trained, though this will need to be confirmed in his new home.

Transporation

Beauregard the 4th is located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
