Big Daddy

Big Daddy is a handsome boy who came to us as a starving stray with a plastic bucket stuck over his head. For an unknown period, he couldn't eat or drink properly. He was scared and difficult to catch but was eventually brought to safety. Underneath his fear, we discovered a really good dog. Big Daddy is approximately 5 years old and about 65 pounds of pure sweetness. He is incredibly smart, gentle, and yearns for love. He knows basic commands, learns quickly, and proudly returns to his kennel after playtime. He absolutely loves female dogs and enjoys older children, but smaller children can make him a little nervous. Given his past, he deserves a slower, softer pace of life. Sadly, quiet, gentle dogs like Big Daddy are often overlooked. But we know his person is out there, someone looking for a loyal companion who understands that rescued dogs value safety above all else. Big Daddy survived with a bucket on his head; imagine how he could thrive with a loving family.

Ideal Home

A home with female dogs and older children would be ideal for Big Daddy. He can be a little nervous around smaller children.
