Meet Sussy, your adventure buddy for life! Sussy is an approximately 3-year-old Labrador mix weighing around 60 pounds. She was rescued from the streets of Houston, Texas, and is now looking for the loving forever home she truly deserves. Sussy is the kindest dog who brings happiness wherever she goes. She always seems to be smiling and has a joyful, loving personality that is impossible not to adore. She is incredibly loyal, polite, and intelligent, forming strong bonds with the people she loves. If you're looking for a fun companion, Sussy is your girl! She is playful, energetic, athletic, and always ready for the next adventure. Whether it's hiking, running, long walks, camping, or simply spending time outdoors, Sussy would thrive with an active family that enjoys including their dog in everyday activities. She is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and rides wonderfully in the car, making her an easy companion for both daily life and weekend adventures. Sussy has waited long enough for a family to call her own. In return for your love, she will give you endless smiles, unwavering loyalty, and a lifetime of unforgettable memories. Could Sussy be the missing piece of your family?
Ideal Home
We are looking for families that enjoy outdoor activities and have a fenced backyard. Ideal adopters will have an open mind and heart towards the needs of rescued street animals, understanding their need for protection and education. Previous experience with dog behavior and training is preferred, along with high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies.
Ongoing Health
Sussy has completed her health protocol, which includes being spayed/neutered, vaccinated for DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella, dewormed, and tested negative for heartworm. She also has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Sussy is not yet house-trained. We understand that rehabilitating rescued pets is a significant undertaking, and while we do our best, it's impossible to house-train every foster. Adopters should be prepared to continue her training and provide patience and understanding.
