Mowgli is a super smart, loving, and affectionate 1-year-old Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix who weighs around 35 pounds. He has unique coloring and a tail that's sure to turn heads! Mowgli is a happy boy who loves being close to his people, going for rides, playing fetch, and showing off his quick learning abilities. He's great on leash, house-trained, and gets along well with dogs, cats, and even horses. While he might sometimes chase, he responds well to corrections and comes when called. He's not a fan of crates.

Mowgli's story is a sad one; he was abandoned but remains full of love and trust. He already knows many commands and is ready for a family to continue his training and enjoy life with. He would make an awesome travel partner and adventure buddy, eager to be someone's loyal best friend.

Mowgli would thrive in a home that can offer him plenty of interaction and fun. He enjoys being with his people and would likely do well in an active family environment.

Training & Support

Mowgli is a very smart boy who already knows commands. He is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He may need some continued guidance with his tendency to chase, but he responds well to "no" and recall. He is not fond of crates.
