Daphne

Hi there, I'm Daphne! I'm a sweet 5+ year old, 10lb Shih Tzu/Maltese mix who absolutely adores people and is a champion cuddler. I came to Tails and Trails as a stray and was a bit neglected, which meant I needed surgery to remove one of my eyes. But don't worry, I'm a super resilient girl and that little change hasn't slowed me down one bit! I love to play and can be a bit of an escape artist, but I always come back when I'm called. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, though I haven't met many small children. I'm house and crate trained and I even enjoy car rides!

Ideal Home

A home with a secure, fenced backyard would be perfect for me to safely explore and play.

Ongoing Health

I recently had an eye removed, but I'm doing great and it doesn't affect my zest for life!

Training & Support

I'm already house and crate trained. I can be an escape artist, so a secure yard is important. I always come when called, though!
