Meet Dixon! This adorable 4-year-old Pit Bull/Staffy mix has the biggest smile, the squishiest little face, and a perfectly potato-shaped body that was clearly designed for cuddling. Dixon looks like he's smiling 24/7, and his joy is contagious. He loves to be loved and will lean his whole body into you for pets, happily flop onto the couch, and always find a way to be touching his humans. If you're looking for personal space, Dixon respectfully suggests you lower your expectations! He would happily spend every evening snuggled up next to you watching movies and pretending he's a lap dog.
Ideal Home
Dixon would love a home with one or two friendly medium-to-large dog friends who enjoy play sessions but also appreciate a nice afternoon nap. A fenced yard is ideal where he can run around with his dog friends, roll in the grass, and find the perfect sunny spot for an afternoon nap.
Ongoing Health
Dixon is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Dixon appears to be a natural with young children, showing gentleness, sweetness, and incredible love. He seems happiest when included in everyday life, whether that's family movie nights, backyard playtime, neighborhood strolls, or simply supervising dinner from a comfy spot on the kitchen floor. He is described as incredibly cuddly.

Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and a dedicated Facebook event page. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
