Meet wonderful Walter! This sweet hound mix is about 6 and a half years old and fully grown at a petite 47 pounds. Walter is the best of both worlds – a playful companion who loves to explore the outdoors with his nose, and a cuddly friend who's happy to snuggle on the couch. He gets along wonderfully with children and other dogs of all sizes and personalities.

Ideal Home

Walter would thrive in a home where he can receive the love he craves. He needs a home without cats, as he prefers the company of humans and other dogs.

Walter is up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Walter is house and crate trained, though he may have occasional accidents as he adjusts to his new environment and people. He's working hard on his leash training but is a jumper, so a leash is mandatory even in fenced areas. He also responds to hunting commands, so he'll need to be leashed when outdoors. Consistency and routine will help him thrive!
