=== FORMAT === HI - I'M PHOENIX! I'm a handsome and healthy 10-year-old Rottie-Dobie mix in need of a foster or forever home! I lost my previous foster home through no fault of my own, and I really miss having people around to snuggle and take me for walks and other outings. I was rescued from a shelter a couple years ago, where I was a shelter favorite, and am currently waiting for someone to adopt me. I weigh about 80 lbs. Despite my age, I am active and I'm a very loving dog. I'll do well with an active person or people who can take me for walks and hikes. I have many positive traits - I am affectionate, I walk well on a leash, and I am a loyal and sweet dog. I will be your best friend for life. I also prefer to have my person or people around, but that can be expected of most dogs! I am not a barker unless it is warranted. I can also be a bit protective of my people and our property, which can be a good thing.

Ideal Home

Phoenix would do well with an active person or people who can take him for walks and hikes. He prefers to have his person or people around, and would do well with a strong owner. While he gets along with dogs he knows, especially female dogs around his size, he can be reactive on a leash toward dogs he doesn't know.

Phoenix is a handsome and healthy 10-year-old boy.

Phoenix is not a barker unless it is warranted. He walks well on a leash. He can be a bit protective of his people and property.
