Benson

Meet the sweet and quiet Benson!

Benson's journey began in Texas, where he was hit by a car and left to wander. After a leg amputation, he's slowly discovered that humans can be a source of good things, like treats and comfort. He gets along well with other dogs and is completely indifferent to cats. Benson is potty trained, rides beautifully in the car, and has been a perfect gentleman during all vet visits and handling. He's a bit of an observer, true to his Great Pyrenees heritage, preferring to keep an eye on things from the same room rather than demanding constant attention.

Ideal Home

Benson would thrive in a calm, low-traffic environment. He would do best with children over 12 who understand boundaries around dogs, as loud or boisterous children might overwhelm him. A home with minimal stairs is preferred to keep him comfortable long-term.

Ongoing Health

Benson is a tripod and has undergone a leg amputation.

Training & Support

Benson is potty trained and well-behaved during car rides and vet visits. He is a lower-energy dog who prefers a relaxed pace of life.
