About Coraline
Coraline is a sweet, curious, silly, cuddly, and endlessly entertaining 6-month-old Doberman or Beauceron mix. She currently weighs 45 lbs and is estimated to reach 85-90 lbs when fully grown. Coraline has a quirky charm that keeps her foster family laughing daily, especially with her favorite game of peek-a-boo. She's deeply people-oriented and loves to be near her humans, following them around like a shadow without being overly demanding. She shows affection with sweet puppy kisses and gentle paw or nose rests. Coraline has a calm and balanced temperament, making her a wonderful work-from-home companion, happy to entertain herself quietly. She's also social with people and other dogs, calmly greeting new friends before continuing to play or explore. Coraline is the perfect blend of playful yet laid-back, independent yet loving, and goofy yet intuitive – she's sure to be your loyal sidekick and best friend.
Ideal Home
Coraline would thrive in a home that enjoys a mix of adventure and relaxation, from leisurely walks to cozy evenings on the couch. She loves puzzle toys and is eager to join outdoor adventures. A fenced yard is a must for her to play and sunbathe. Due to her size and occasional nervousness in busy areas, apartments or condos are not suitable. She needs her human home most of the time but would do well with doggy daycare a few days a week. She thrives when included in her family's daily life and needs plenty of love, exercise, and attention.
Ongoing Health
Coraline is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and has been spayed. She is microchipped and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She has a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian and has received any necessary vet care while in rescue.
Training & Support
Coraline is potty trained and kennel trained. She is still mastering leash walking and needs additional practice to build confidence. She alerts her foster when she needs to go outside by pacing at the back door or using a doggy door. She will need to be taken out every 3-4 hours initially and kept on a consistent schedule. She is treat motivated and will walk beside you with positive reinforcement.
