Lucy

Lucy is a gentle and friendly 40 lb. lab mix, approximately 1 1/2 years old, who likely has some Rhodesian Ridgeback in her. She is an awesome dog who gets along great with everyone and loves to follow her foster mom around with a wagging tail. Lucy and her sister Ethel were found as strays in a rural part of Mississippi. When the Wags director learned that a neighbor was planning to poison the dogs, she rushed out to help. The girls settled in immediately and became favorites at the Rescue. Ethel has been adopted and is doing great, and now it's sweet Lucy's turn! She is a mellow and laid-back pup who loves toys and bones.

Transporation

Lucy is currently in Mississippi and is ready to come to the northeast on Saturday, July 17th. Dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport them. Sometimes we are able to bring dogs up into a foster home in the northeast, and we always need foster homes!
