Josie

Josie is a 2-year-old, 60 lb female who is a happy girl and loves to meet other dogs, big and small. She can be cautious with people at first, but loves to get her pets and scratches. Josie loves to go on walks and hops right into the car to start adventures. She walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, and uses the doggie door. She sleeps through the night in her crate and is not barky. She has good house manners, although she can't seem to help but pick up any socks left on the floor and trot around with them. She doesn't love her bath but loves to run in streams and she enjoys the beach. However, she didn't like the waves crashing so instead she jumps over them into the shallow water. In the house, she will be your shadow, liking to know where the people are. Josie is a quiet dog, well-mannered, doesn't dig or eat plants, and loves treats. She loves to initiate play with other dogs and would love to join a family with another dog or a person who can bring her to interact with other dogs. She is being fostered with 2 other adult dogs. Josie is a bit shy with new people, so she would do best with older kids.

Josie would love a home with another dog to play with or a family who can facilitate her interaction with other dogs. She would do best with older children due to her shyness with new people.

Josie is spayed, microchipped, and has had all her vaccinations.
