Tuna

Tuna is a charming 2-year-old Chihuahua mix, weighing about 14.5 pounds. He found himself looking for a new home after his previous owner had to move and could no longer care for him. Tuna is a sweet boy with a gentle personality, though he can be a bit nervous when first meeting new people. Once he feels safe and secure, his true affectionate nature shines through. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has been a well-behaved companion here at the rescue.

Ongoing Health

Tuna has been examined by our veterinary team and is cleared as healthy and ready for adoption. All animals receive spay/neuter surgery, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed), and flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. A complimentary wellness exam is also provided 7-10 days after adoption.

Training & Support

While Tuna has been easy to manage at the rescue, we cannot guarantee if he is housebroken as we don't observe our animals in home settings.
