OPIE

Meet Opie! He is a 2-year-old, 64 lb Boxer/Pit Bull mix who looks like he's wearing a tuxedo topped off with a white-tipped tail!

Opie is a smart and sweet-natured dog with a happy disposition. People are his passion! He is mellow, has a gentle mouth for treats, goofy, and enjoys cuddles. He tends to be a quiet and tidy boy who is a fast learner. He is a great walker, enjoys car rides, and yard play, especially keep-away fetch!

Ideal Home

Opie is looking for an active family who can keep up with his exuberance! He is a wonderful companion and family dog. Children should be 10+ and sturdy due to his active nature. He is dog-social and does best with submissive female playmates of his size, with proper introductions. A secured, fenced yard is required to keep him safe and happy. Due to his prey drive, he cannot live in a home with small dogs, cats, or any small animals. Large dog experience is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Opie is currently on CBD edibles daily. All AAP dogs come up to date on vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

We have noted that Opie chases large trucks and motorcycles during road walks, which is something to be aware of. He is a fast learner and eager to please.
