Meet Bugsy!
Bugsy is a five-year-old sweetheart with a dramatic flair for the dramatic. Her story began when she was found wandering for weeks with no collar or home. One afternoon, she decided to take a nap in a pile of leaves, looking so still that some good samaritans mistook her for being gone. To their surprise, Bugsy simply lifted her head and gave a lazy tail thump, revealing she was just sunbathing! After that scare, she was rescued and eventually made her way to a foster home. Bugsy is named after a character from an 80's computer game, but unlike her namesake, she doesn't want to be Public Enemy No. 1. Instead, she dreams of being someone's number one cuddle buddy. After a life of being used for breeding, Bugsy craves love, affection, and attention. She's a clever girl who loves to play and will playfully steal your belongings just to get you to follow her. She used to be a bit mouthy and wild, but she has since learned valuable commands like "sit," "shake," and "lay down," and she comes when called. She's even learned that the cat is not a chew toy! Bugsy walks beautifully on a leash and is crate-trained. Her superpower is making you smile and laugh with her playful antics, and she truly is a lovebug.
Ideal Home
Bugsy adores kids of all ages. She can get a bit overly excited around them at times, but she is learning to manage her enthusiasm.

Bugsy has no known health conditions to be aware of at this time.
Training & Support
Bugsy has learned to "sit," "shake," "lay down," and "come" when called. She walks beautifully on a leash and is crate-trained. While she's learned not to see the cat as a chew toy, she can still get a bit excited around children and is working on this.
