Atlas

Meet Atlas, a handsome 4-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd with striking blue merle coloring. Atlas is a smart and capable dog, but he's looking for a special kind of home. He came back to us from his original owner and is now seeking a fresh start with a confident and experienced handler. Atlas is a good boy who thrives with structure and clear leadership. He's up-to-date on all his vaccines and will be neutered soon, after which he'll be ready for his new adventure.

Ideal Home

Atlas would do best in a home with a confident owner who can provide consistent leadership and establish themselves as the "alpha." He needs a home without small children. While he's not currently off-leash trained, with the right owner and consistent training, he could learn to be reliable in unfenced areas. If no fence is available, he must be kept on a leash when outdoors.

Ongoing Health

Atlas is up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He is scheduled to be neutered on Thursday, July 2nd.

Training & Support

Atlas is kennel trained and potty trained. However, he may have accidents indoors if his cues are missed. He can be a bit standoffish initially with new people but warms up quickly. He is reported to be great with other dogs and animals. He will need consistent training and structure to thrive.
