About Gremlin
Professional Couch Gremlin • Certified Lap Inspector • 10/10 Nap Champion
Gremlin is a 5-year-old, 65 lb American Bully (altered male) who has fully embraced the art of cozy living. If there’s a couch, a pillow, or a human sitting down, Gremlin believes it was placed there specifically for him. His favorite position is exactly like the photo — belly up, head on a pillow or your lap, eyes half-open like he’s supervising naps. This boy is house and crate trained, dog friendly (✨no cats✨), and absolutely devoted to his person. If you sit down, he’s in your lap. If you lie down, he’s convinced it’s a group activity. He would love nothing more than to sleep in bed with his human and start every morning with cuddles. Gremlin enjoys car rides, playing well with other dogs, toys (briefly... before they’re destroyed), treats (a little too enthusiastically — gentle treat-taking is a work in progress), and walks where stopping to sniff everything is mandatory. He also loves playing with the water hose (warning: he goes feral in the best way). He does not enjoy cats, loud mechanical noises (vacuums, lawnmowers, saws — crate time is best during these), or fetch (he prefers to chew the ball and contemplate life). Gremlin’s past wasn’t kind — he was abused and spent much of his life confined to a crate. Because of that, he thrives with someone who is home often. When he first left the shelter, he had significant separation anxiety and required a strong crate, but once he felt safe and loved, he settled beautifully. Now he crates willingly, usually doesn’t bark when left, and just wants reassurance that his people always come back. Gremlin is equal parts soft couch goblin, loyal shadow, and goofy cuddle bug. He’s not perfect — but he is deeply loving, endlessly affectionate, and ready for a home where he can finally relax, feel safe, and spend his days exactly like this photo: snuggled up, unbothered, and adored. If you want a dog who will love you with his whole body, claim your lap as home base, and nap like it’s an Olympic sport — Gremlin is your guy.
Ideal Home
Gremlin can get jumpy and mouthy when excited, so he’s best suited for a home without small children. He climbs a 4’ chain-link fence, so a 6’ wooden fence or supervised outdoor time is required. He thrives with someone who is home often.
Ongoing Health
Gremlin was heartworm positive and received his heartworm injections and is now on monthly heartworm preventatives.
