Juno fka Stripe

Juno is a sweet 9-year-old female, black Lab/Boxer mix with distinctive white chest markings. Weighing in at 65 lbs, she is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and current on heartworm medication. Juno is house-trained and enjoys a low-key lifestyle, happily greeting her family in the morning and settling down quickly after her breakfast. Her favorite part of the day is around 3 PM when she's ready for her walk, which she loves, and she also enjoys playing fetch with a treat reward. She's also a fan of games like hide-and-seek with a stuffed animal, especially when her favorite humans are involved. In the evenings, Juno likes to relax by her family's feet while they watch TV. She's wonderful with babies and children, and while she gets a little excited when visitors arrive, she settles down rather swiftly.

Ideal Home

Juno would thrive in a home where she can enjoy her walks and playtime. Due to a past tendency to escape when left alone in an unfenced yard (approximately 2-3 times a year), a securely fenced yard would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Juno experiences nervousness during storms and is managed with Trazodone, which helps her feel more comfortable. She also takes a joint supplement and Diethylstilbestrol for incontinence. These medications are administered weekly and cost approximately $35 per month.

Training & Support

While Juno is house-trained, she is not currently crate-trained.
