Dewey

Dewey is a 4.5-month-old, 25 lb male Blue Heeler/Coonhound mix with a heart full of love and a nose for adventure! This spotted rascal was unfortunately abandoned but quickly found his way into a foster home where he's been blossoming. He's a super sweet and affectionate puppy who loves to shower his people with kisses. Dewey is learning so much, including crate and potty training, and is doing well with his doggy sibling and the resident cats. While he's still mastering the difference between chew toys and shoes, he's a smart pup who picks things up quickly. He's generally brave but can be a bit startled by loud noises. Dewey is also working on his leash manners and basic obedience.

Ideal Home

A secure, fenced yard would be ideal for Dewey to explore and put his hound nose to good use, along with a family that can provide a reasonable activity level to help him burn off his puppy energy.

Ongoing Health

Dewey will be neutered prior to transport.

Training & Support

Dewey is still learning to distinguish between chew toys and shoes, but he is a smart puppy and learns quickly. He is also beginning to work on his leash manners.

Transporation

Dewey is currently located in South Texas and can be transported to his new home in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and other states on the East and West Coast.
