Hi, I'm Floyd! Now that we've met, will you love me? Pretty please! I really want to find my forever home and be loved for the rest of eternity! My foster family says that I am the most appreciative and loyal of all the fosters they have ever had. I'm just so happy to be in a warm, safe, and soft place after almost a year at shelters and in boarding!
I'm about 4 and a half years old and am a Plott Hound. This means I love to smell all the smells and really enjoy being outside. I would love a fenced-in yard to explore, but it isn't necessary as I'm pretty laid back and willing to chill with you on the couch if you'd prefer – again, if you're petting me, I'm there! I enjoy when people visit the house and do great with company. I'm a people pleaser! I also do well home alone when you need to leave for work or events without me and am fully house-broken.
My fosters say I'm smart! I've learned to sit, stay, and give a paw in a short amount of time. I love treats and am happy to do as you wish for one!
Ideal Home
I would do best in a home with no other male dogs. I also need a home with no kiddos. I could be an excellent house protector for a single person or a third wheel to a couple. I am happy to be active or relax the day away depending upon what my family wants to do!
