Meet Scout! Scout is a German Shepherd Dog mix, weighing 45 lbs, with an estimated birthday of April 13, 2025. He's a sweet pup with the cutest floppy ears and a heart full of unconditional love once he warms up to you. Scout was rescued from a city shelter where he was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding, despite being a happy and healthy puppy. Now, he's ready to find his forever home and shower his family with affection. He enjoys running and playing with his foster siblings, both human and canine, and also loves to snuggle up on the couch for a relaxing day.

Transportation

Scout is currently located in Houston, Texas. Transport is available out of state to your state or a neighboring state. Pick-up locations for transported dogs may vary. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These transports are ground-based using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. Adopters can track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates during transit. Facebook chats are also available for transport updates.
