Ash hasn't had the easiest start. He was dumped at a city shelter, then taken back by his owners only to be abandoned on the streets of Brooklyn during the coldest weekend of winter. Frantically running through the streets, he hopped into an ambulance, crying for help. Rescued and now safe, Ash shows his gratitude daily with endless wagging tails, soulful eyes, and big hugs. He is a happy boy who charms everyone he meets and loves deeply.

Ash is strikingly handsome with beautiful markings and soulful hazel-grey eyes. He's incredibly smart, knows many commands, and listens beautifully, making him an eager and focused partner. Ash is the ultimate adventure companion, game for anything from hiking and beach days to park trips and strolls. He is a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and greets everyone with his whole heart. After a big day, he sleeps soundly in his crate, belly up, a sign of a dog who finally feels safe and loved. Ash is a love sponge, living for belly rubs and petting sessions, and is ready to be the loyal, grateful companion someone has been searching for.

Ideal Home

Ash is dog-friendly and with slow introductions, we believe he could live with cats. He has no mean bone in his body. He would thrive in a home looking for a velcro best friend.
