Poppy Seed

Poppy is a cautious lady who takes her time getting to know new people. She tends to feel more comfortable with women and is still learning that the world is a safe place. She already knows sit, paw, and lay down like a pro, and she walks beautifully on leash.

Ideal Home

Poppy is looking for a home that can offer her patience and understanding as she learns to trust. She may be okay with pre-teens and teens, and it's recommended she have a meet and greet with any other dogs in the home.

Ongoing Health

Poppy is heartworm positive, but this is being managed with Moxi Doxy.

Training & Support

Poppy knows several basic commands and walks well on a leash. She is still learning that the world is a safe place, and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and a gentle approach.
