Dexter

Dexter is a charming 6-year-old Pit mix who is a dream come true for any adopter! He's already mastered the essentials of being a wonderful house dog, being housebroken, crate trained, and walking politely on a leash. Dexter is a confident and responsive boy who settles into his surroundings with ease and is a pro at following commands. He's past his rambunctious puppy days but has an abundance of love and loyalty to share.

Ideal Home

Dexter enjoys being the center of attention and would do best in a home where he can be the only dog or with calm, well-mannered canine companions who respect his space. He doesn't do well with dominant personalities and will stand his ground if challenged.

Ongoing Health

Dexter has been neutered, is heartworm negative, and has received senior bloodwork. He is currently on monthly preventatives and is up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Dexter is a responsive dog who already knows many commands and is well-behaved in the home.
