A little about them
Cashew is a sweet, loyal, obedient 5-year-old Pit Bull Terrier/American Bully mix weighing 83 pounds. He loves cuddling, walks, leisurely hikes, squeaky toys, chew toys, naps, and spending time with his people.
Ideal Home
Cashew is nervous at first and needs a calm, steady home with structure, consistency, patience, and time to adjust. A busy, fast-paced environment would not be a good fit. He does well with other dogs but needs slow, thoughtful introductions. Because he is a strong, insecure large-breed dog, he needs an adopter with large-breed experience. He would do best with children age 10 or older who understand his need for space, calm energy, and gradual introductions.
Ongoing Health
Cashew is vaccinated and neutered.
Training & Support
Cashew is house trained and crate trained, though he has not needed a crate in about nine months. He walks well on leash and knows commands including place, wait, sit, lay down, upstairs, downstairs, and “drop it like it’s hot.” He will benefit from kind, consistent guidance to maintain his training and build confidence.
