Meet Daquiri, a sweet and comforting 4 ½-year-old companion who is happiest when snuggled up next to his favorite people. Daquiri used to be a social butterfly, but after a tough experience with a larger dog, he’s become shy and unsure around other pups. He’s looking for a patient and loving family or individual who will help him regain his confidence and feel safe again. With the right home, Daquiri is sure to blossom into the happy, playful dog he once was.

Ideal Home

Daquiri would thrive in a patient and loving home where he can feel safe and confident. He is shy around other dogs due to a past negative experience.

Ongoing Health

Daquiri is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.

Training & Support

Daquiri is a rescue dog and will require continued training efforts and understanding. He is working on building his confidence around other dogs.

Transporation

Daquiri is located in Angleton, TX. He can be transported to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Transport is available via comfortable, air-conditioned buses with dedicated care. You can follow along on his journey through a private Facebook event page. The adoption fee for transported dogs varies, while dogs picked up at our Angleton, TX location are $75.
