Cookie is a gentle and loving Labrador mix with a sweet, loyal nature. She is a wonderful companion who enjoys being close to her people and brings calm, comforting energy to those around her. She gets along well with other dogs and children, making her an excellent family dog. Cookie can be a little nervous at times, especially in new situations, but with patience and kindness, she settles in and shows her trusting heart. One of her favorite things is looking out the window, and she enjoys car rides and quiet moments at home. Cookie was born during freezing temperatures underneath a ruined house, but despite her harsh beginning, she has grown into a resilient and loving dog ready for a safe, warm, forever home.
Ideal Home
An active family that enjoys outdoor activities and is looking for a home owner with a fenced backyard. Families with an open conscience about the needs of rescued street animals and a background in dog behavior and training are ideal. She would do best with a family who has high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies. Cookie is not house trained.
Ongoing Health
Cookie has received a spay/neuter, DHPPI vaccine, rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, and has been dewormed. She has a negative heartworm test and a health certificate.
Training & Support
Cookie is not house trained. Patience and kindness will help her settle into new situations.

- A home check will be conducted (virtually or in-person).
- A virtual meet and greet will be organized with you, the foster home, and the prospective pup.
- If all parties agree, an adoption contract will be provided for a trial adoption period.
Transportation
Cookie is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas and is available for transport to the East Coast and PNW. A transport fee of $400.00 will be paid by the adopter prior to departure.
