Hi there! My name is Jeffery, and I'm a loving 2-year-old hound mix who arrived at the shelter as a stray. I'm a medium-sized boy, weighing in at about 54 lbs, and I'm fully grown. I'm a super-duper cuddler and dream of a home filled with lots of love and hugs. I came in with another dog, and I would love to meet any potential canine siblings before we go home together. My friends here don't know how I'd do with cats or small children, so it's best to introduce me to them too. While I love the staff and volunteers here, it's not quite a home, and I'm ready to be someone's cherished boy!

Ideal Home

A home that offers plenty of love and hugs. I would need to meet any resident dogs and people before moving in.

Ongoing Health

I tested positive for heartworms, but don't worry! The shelter will continue to treat me even after I'm adopted. I'll just need a few sleepovers to get all better. I am neutered.

Training & Support

I'm house-trained and eager to please. I'm ready to settle into my forever home and bring lots of joy!
